Ali: Ferizaj to become one of Kosovo's main centres

Ferizaj Mayor Agim Aliu has declared that for this year in Ferizaj it will be invested in many projects in various areas that will be in service of all the citizens of Ferizaj.

He suggested that Ferizaj's municipality has not found it well, as it is in poor financial condition left by past government led by Muharrem Sfarqa, who comes from LDK.

I have pledged to the citizens of Ferizaj that my programme will work for everyone. I have my own governing platform and this will serve all citizens”, he said today on the morning show at RTK.

According to him from work and proven that he did earlier in the municipality and the work he did at the centre as an MP, he has established contacts so that through them he can receive different projects from local and foreign institutions.

Many of the projects I've unveiled are in the Law for the Budget of 2018. I thank all those who are supporting the Ferizaj municipality, even isolating Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veselin”, Aliu said.

Ferizaj, who is the second centre in Kosovo, according to the municipality's first one, has been thrown into chaos. “Ferizaj has the most residents coming to live after Pristina, I've introduced a major city union project, this project will take time, but this is one of the projects that will succeed”, he said.

Even in the gender aspect, Ali has to take an example of what gender equality should be like.

The main challenges, according to Aliu, for the four-year term are many. “Health will be one of the priorities, as well as education is one of the priorities, I will work to depoliticise this field, invest in this area, public cures etc”, Ferizaj municipality chairman Agim Aliu said.
