According to the prosecution, avoiding these obligations amounts to over 8m euros. It was originally made by an audit of taxes that controlled Armo's 2011-2013 operation. And according to this report, the prosecution launched an investigation and sent him to trial.
One important fact that the prosecution against Taci has in hand is that at a time when Armo failed to pay tax duties on the grounds that there was no liquidity, considerable withdrawal of several million euros from the firm's bank accounts, which are not known where they ended up.
It is now up to the court of Tirana to assess the prosecution's investigation and counter arguments. As in the first process, Rezart Taci has been tried in absentia, after more than two years of leaving the country.
