According to a study by the Institute for Territorial Economic Development é InTER in northern Mitrovica, the number of businesses registered in northern Kosovo municipalities has increased after agreements reached in Brussels, particularly in 2015.
The study has shown that major business activities in the north are trade, agriculture, construction and processed industry.
Presenting the results of the research at a table held north of Mitrovica, Jovana Jakovlevq, an InTER researcher, has said that this structure of activities changes in northern Mitrovica, where agriculture is not much represented but replaced by technical scientific innovations due to the presence of the Serbian University in northern Mitrovica, the newspaper ãorão writes away.
“When it comes to the trend of registering economic subjects in northern Kosovo, looking at the period from 2000, when registration of businesspeople at the Agency for Registering Economic Subjects of Kosovo and by the end of 2017 the number of economic subjects registered with the Kosovo system has increased markedly after the agreements reached in Brussels, mostly registered in 2015”, Jakovevsky said..
