More than 24 thousand attempts to access pornographic pages by the British Parliament

More than 24,000 attempts have been made to access pornographic websites from the British Parliament building in the five months following last June's general elections.

According to official figures, 24.473 attempts -- or 160 per day -- were made by computers or other electronic devices connected to the parliament network used by MPs, their staff and officials from June to October. This find comes as the scandal follows, former Deputy Prime Minister Damian Greenm, who resigned after he lied about pornographic material found in his office's computers in 2008.

The data for the latest audiovisi preferences of the British Parliament's staff was received following a press association request based on the law on freedom of information. Last September was the most charged with over 9,000 attempts to access pornographic sites by parliament computers in the lord's room and lower room.

Parliament officials said pornographic sites are blocked on their network, so most attempts to open them are not deliberate. However, another statistics say last year there were nearly 3 million attempts to open pages blocked by the parliament network
