Through a post in his Facebook account, Thaci wrote that “the election of the speaker and deputy speaker of Parliament is good news and a necessary step for Kosovo”.
He has indicated that many challenges await our country, which with culture and democratic debates can be resolved in the Assembly.
I invite Chairman Kadri Veselin and vice-chairmen for their appointment and invite the new chairmanship, as well as all MPs, to co-operate on topics that are strategic for the future of Kosovo and our children”, has ended Hashim Thaci.
Kadri Wessel has been elected chairman of the Parliament today after an institutional deadlock, with 62 votes for and 52 against. /Insider. com
