Special Law Change, Public Request for Government, Opposition

Non-governmental organisation “Family and Hope”, with a public request to Haradinaj Government and the opposition to join and meet the law for the Special Court.
This organisation through a communique has said it expects the implementation of the Special Court for War Crimes law to be the first issue to unite for the benefit of Kosovo citizens.
“Sending Serbian criminals to this court does not dare to be part of the long list of divisions between you, but, rather, should be the beginning of easing tensions and entrenching between you. The divisions between you, the Albanian party participating in Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's new government and the two opposition parties VV and LDK that these days are gaining severe and disturbing proportions for Kosovo citizens are the collection of serious mistakes in many sectors of daily life during the full 18 years since the end of the war. One of these grave mistakes is the adoption of the key law for the special war crimes tribunal, which in its current form is nothing more than amnesty of Serb killers and other Serbian war crimes responsible 1998-1999 crimes against the Kosovo Albanian population”, said in a communique of this show.
Furthermore, despite extreme frustration among you, the family of nearly 1.3000 civilian war victims and 20,000 women and girls raped by Serb criminals are said to be continuing now and a year, calling for all of you Albanian political parties, in power and opposition, during the government of the last parliament and now in the new government, Ramush Haradinaj of the new parliament, to fulfil this wicked law so that Serb criminals, now 18 years and 18 years, will be tried in Serbia, protected by the Serbian state ahead of Aleksandar Vuncic.
“Disabilities and frustrations between you, the Albanian party in power and opposition, in no way are reasons you cannot find at least one provisional union point. Therefore, we invite and demand of all of you to fulfill this law and to allow the judgment of the killers of our most beloved, right there in The Hague. We ask Mr Ramush Haradinaj's government to propose to the Kosovo parliament the implementation of the special court law. In this option, we demand that the VV and LDK support him and vote in favour of this proposal. If Mr. Ramush Haradinaj's government fails to make this proposal in parliament to implement the law in question, we demand that the opposition, VV and LDK do so. In this option, we demand that Albanian parties participating in the new government support the proposal for law enforcement. For us members of the victims of war, it is not important who propose the fulfillment of this law. For us, it is his fulfillment and the judgment of Serbian and Serbian criminals for war crimes against our most beloved,”, said in the communique.

The fulfillment of this law, according to them, should also be accompanied by parliament's binding decision to condition dialogue with Serbia until the dawn of the fate of the missing of war and until Serb killers and other responsibilities of Serbia are sent to justice in this court for all war crimes against our most loved ones.
So let the law for the Special Court be fulfilled and conditioning dialogue in question, the first issues that will unite you in these dire moments of division between you. All of you, Albanian political parties and Kosovo Albanian deputies, consistently claim that you are climbing into your positions in government and parliament for the benefit of Kosovo citizens and for the good of Kosovo. So give evidence of such claims. Prove yourself: Fulfill this wicked law and do not allow the amnesty of Serbia's criminals by ignoring you for our sacred request for justice. We want justice for the suffering and crimes Serbia has caused us. This justice is now in your hands: PDK, AAK, AKR, NISMA, VV, LDK and ALTERNATIVA of anyone else. Complete the special court law. Allow the sending of Serbia's criminals to The Hague for war crimes trial against Kosovo citizens”, the report said.
