Serbian deputies will vote on Kosovo Army”

President of the Association of Montenegrins, Slobodan M. Vujicic has said Serb deputies in the Kosovo Assembly will vote for the establishment of the Kosovo Army through constitutional changes. According to him, it will happen very quickly and without a doubt because they “have been committed when, as representatives of the Republic of Kosovo, they have sworn in”.

“With this move, they have pledged to work in the interest of Kosovo and all its citizens, that they will engage in the protection and respect of constitutionality and legitimacy, in defence of Kosovo's territorial integrity and institutional integrity, for guaranteeing human freedom and rights, in accordance with the country's laws and European standards”, Vujic said by a statement to the media, Kohanet reported.

“Therefore, the Serbian Defence Minister's negative reaction -- Aleksandar Vulin -- to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's statement -- that Kosovo by the end of the year will have the army, we consider it an empty shot and another blow to our citizens and to itself” -- has further been voiced Vujicic.

The chairman of the Association of Montenegrins, Vujicic, says the current Kosovo Protection Forces, except the name, do not distinguish anything from the armed forces of other states in the region and in its composition, among other minorities, have a considerable number of Kosovo Serb soldiers and officers.

“This is a reality that cannot be erased and that should not be hidden from the citizens of Serbia”, Vujic notes.

The current “Protection Force and the Armed Future of Kosovo, in partnership with NATO and the US, will not be a threat to the peace and stability of the countries in the region, as the Minister of Vopiin wants to present, but will be the opposite, his guarantor”, has ended up chairman of the Association of Montenegrins of Kosovo, Slobodan M. Vujicic.
