Ruzhdzi Shaqiri's wife says she was threatened by Gec's brother

On Monday, shortly after the hearing held at the Appeals Court in the case of former Genie Geci, sentenced to four and a half years in prison for the murder of Ruzhdi Shaqiri in Skenderaj, the late woman, has claimed to have been threatened with the lives of her children, by the defendant's brother.

This threat, which happened after the parties left the courtroom, in Pristina's Foundation Court hall respectively, was confirmed by the representative of the damaged party, lawyer Sokol Dobruna.

Dobruna told “Justice Vow” that his representative, the wife of the late Ruzhdi Shaqiri, Halime Shaqiri, has received threats from Guni Geci's brother.

And this threat, Halime Shaqiri, who is also the injured party in the case of Gani Geci, says he has submitted it to the police.

The case for “Justice Trust” has confirmed Kosovo Police spokeswoman Florie Ahmeti.

“Rastin is accepted at 11:35, it is about a row after the hearing at the Palace of Justice”, said Ahmeti, who added that Kosovo Police will handle the case.

Also, after today's hearing of the Court of Appeals, the lawyer Dobruna was charged by Gani Geci with orders that he was head of the KLA Military Court, according to him, had given him to kill him.

But these charges, Dobruna said they do not stand because it has not done so, but the order has after to do with choice between two options, hand over weapons or join the arm of war.

On 3 June last year, the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica had sentenced Gani Gecin to 4 years and 6 months in prison for the murder of Ruzhdi Shaqiri.

Gajni Geci was accused of killing Ruzhdzi Shaqiri in the center of Skyright on August 4, 2014.
