Pacolli's request for the American ambassador

First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli has hosted Kosovo's Ambassador to the United States, Greg Delaway, today.

Pacolli and Delaway have discussed Kosovo's current position and foreign policy priorities. Pacolli also called for close co-operation with US representatives for the consolidation of Kosovo's citizenship.

First Deputy Prime Minister Pacolli has expressed the gratitude of the people and the Government of Kosovo for continued support and inadequate US assistance throughout all Kosovo's statehood processes.

As for strengthening the country's international subjectivity, Pacolli has called for US support for membership in international organisations. Highly praising relations between Kosovo and the US, Pacolli has stressed the will of the Government of Kosovo for further strengthening of these relations.

“US support in the statehood processes is of great importance for Kosovo to score success”, Pacolli has said, among other things.
