New Kosovo Alliance leaders have repeatedly issued statements that no PDK or coalition will join P AN ( PDK, AAK and Initiative. Despite many promises, President I The AKR signed the ruling coalition with PAN last night. The AKR will lead the main ministries of the economy, as well as two other important ministries, foreign affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
AKR President Behgjet Pacolli had said in an interview given in Rubik's KTV had said he would not break the agreement with LDK under any circumstances. He had even said that breaking the deal would not take place even if the country went to new elections.
We stand by the LDK agreement. I'm never out of words or deals. We can't break the deal with the LDK under any circumstance”, Pacolli said in Rubik.
But rumours of a possible coalition between the AKR and the PAN were added after the AKR Chief of Staff meeting, Beating Pacolli with President Thaci's Wessel.
Despite that, AKR president had said he remained loyal to the coalition with the LDK. Pacolli had come up with the idea of forming a sweeping government which would have a limited mandate until the adoption of major decisions.
A few days later, Pacolli had even accused the PAN coalition of violating the Constitution with its boycott of participation in the Kosovo Assembly Constituent session.
I authorized Pacolli to find solutions beyond the LAA Coalition ( The LDK, AKR and Alternatives for forming the new government.
These were not Pacolli's only vows not to reunite AKR with PDK.
Pacolli even at the end of 2016 had said he would not enter a coalition with PDK and LDK. Both promises have already broken.
With two ruling parties, PDK and LDK, I see no possibility of co-governance. I do not betray the citizen of Kosovo because I consider both of these parties as the main responsible for the loss of hope and economic collapse”, Pacolli declared in a procurement for “Zen” in November 2016.
Even AKR deputy chairman Agim Bahtiri has said they will by no means enter the government with the group of parties called PAN. For KTV, he said he used to go into a coalition with PAN.
The stance against the coalition with the PAN had repeated for other media.
It's very cut that the AKR in any form, in any way, and at no cost will go to PAN”, said Agim Bahtiri, deputy chairman I AKR in an interview given for “Klan Kosovo”.
Even the other AKR deputy chairman, Korab Sejdiu had given big words against the coalition with the PAN. I have spoken once and I repeat: no matter who is on the other side, even if 119 MPs vote for, my vote will be like it was. So against PAN”, deputy Sejdiu has said of the Dayline.
