Opposition at any time could file no-confidence motion on government

The number of coalition deputies, PDK-AAK-NISMA, in the sixth legislature of the Kosovo Parliament, may also be a problem when voting of many laws is questioned.

But first of all, it is the opposition that has the majority of Kosovo Assembly deputies who could freeze a no-confidence motion even for the new government.

It was the Minister of Agriculture from the ranks of the Serbian List, Nenad Ricalo, who has promoted much debate and suspicion about his past, which was suspected to have been criminal.

In this regard, the opposition is very loud. It is even the deputy from the ranks of office -- from the NISMA party for Kosovo, Zafir Berisha, who has been openly expressing yesterday that if the opposition secures 61 votes for the fall of Haradinaj Government, his vote will be 62nd.

We remember Berisha was exactly the MP who abstained in the government's vote, the decision he made in recent hours.

Linked to this issue by KDI, Albert Krasniqi has stressed that the raising of a no-confidence motion against the government could occur at any time.

“Establishment of the government's no-confidence motion could take place at any time, despite when it received the” mandate, Krasniqi said of Indexline.

According to him, it is sufficient that this motion has the backing of 1/3 of all MPs, despite 40 deputies.

If the no-confidence motion fails, another cannot be lifted within the next 90 days”, Krasniqi has concluded.

It must also be commemorated that it was the Mustafa Government, which managed to be brought down by a no-confidence motion established by the NISMA party for Kosovo, supported by other opposition parties and the PDK at the time it was leading the coalition with LDK, the party of Isa Mustafafa.
