Nepal gets $500m from MCC, Kosovo gets only 49m because of not fighting corruption

The state of Nepal has received $500m in donations from the US Federal Agency “Milenium Challenge Corporation” [ The MCC, for which Kosovo has fought, but has only completed $44m, due to shortcomings in rule of law and economic weaknesses.
Instead of $500m, Kosovo concluded with a donation of $49m from the MCC, for which President Hashim Thaci has travelled to America, while for $500m for Nepal the finance minister of this state will be present, Coha.net broadcasts.
The MCC's announcement on the sharing of $500m for Nepal says that this state has advanced to rule of law, economic freedom and has invested in its people.
This is the largest grant of the MCC and given through competition selection among poor countries that have been better governed.
The 49m dollars will focus mainly on improving electricity and on projects for transparency and responsible governance in Kosovo.
