Montenegro Prime Minister Dusko Markovic's office has told Gazeta Express that Montenegro will not change its stance about demarcation, as it has already approved the agreement with Kosovo.
In response, this office has been returned to G. Express on behalf of Montenegrin top diplomat Srdjan Darnovolic speaks in detail about Montenegro's state stance on demarcation.
In question of whether there will be talks with Kosovo about this issue, Darnovolic has responded:
“We will have contacts all the time with our Kosovo friends from the new government, with the president of Kosovo, in many conferences, bilaterally, but we have no other news about this, except that for us this is a complete issue. The US and EU statements have been clear that the completion of the demarcation process is a condition for European integrations, so we think that this is an internal issue in Kosovo and we should not get involved”.
He has said he can negotiate with Kosovo, but decisions have already been made.
