LDK shows whether to support army formation and demarcation in the country

The Democratic League of Kosovo will support demarcation with Montenegro only if Prime Minister Ramush Harradinaj returns the border to Cakir and Tower, LDK member Bajram Gecaj has said in a proposal for Indexline.

According to him, the demarcation issue is misused by the then opposition, but also, it says by a good portion of the PDK deputies.

We demand that the prime minister fulfil his vows to return the border to Chuckorr and the tower. If he does that, we're normally going to vote for the demarcation” Gicaj said.

He has further talked about the Army of the Republic of Kosovo.

Gecaj says the military will have co-operation only with the United States of America and NATO. He says he has no army without co-operating with international factors.

“The LDK and the government led by the Democratic League of Kosovo have backed and postponed the theme of the Army of the Republic of Kosovo, has opened a process of talks with all of the involvulari on the issue, including the international union. However, it has been an initiative of the president in office, which really saw that it failed because it was not done in consultation with Kosovo institutions, but also with the international union. We believe it is very important that the Kosovo Army be formed, but that we will do in close co-operation with the United States of America and NATO. So there is no army without cooperation with these very important factors”, Gicaj has declared.
