MP Memli Krasniqi's PDK has said that it has now considered that it has to make a break from the government's commitment to focusing on MP duty.
He, through a text on his Facebook account, has congratulated the new Government and said some of the ministers will be able to change the situation for good.
Krasniqi's complete writing:
Dear friends,
Yesterday the new government was voted in, and this time I'm not going to be part of the government cabinet. I have long considered that I have to take a break from the executive, to focus on the legislature during this mandate, when the main political battle is expected to take place right in the Kosovo Assembly.
The new government and new ministers want a good job and I expect them to start working immediately, because we have lost enough time. I have faith, especially in some of them, that will be able to change for the better the plight of some important sectors.
I want to thank all those colleagues that for many years we have worked together to address the many challenges, both in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.
In particular, I express my deepest gratitude to members of my cabinet, for my advisers, without whom many successes in areas we have had responsibilities over the years. I am sure that many of them will continue to serve the country with honor and dedication, regardless of future tasks. I also thank each administration official who has carried out his obligations with zeal and responsibility.
There are many achievements, of course, but I am aware that there is still much work to be done. And to achieve even greater progress, we need maximum commitment, commitment and concrete work of every person who has institutional responsibilities. I will continue to make my contribution as an MP, to further all areas that are priorities for the citizens of our country.
Thank you.
