Pristina's current chairman, Shpend Ahmeti, even though he has received many votes for deputy, immediately after the elections has released the post to run again for the first of Pristina, RTV21 reports.
VV has also run MP Driton Caushi for the head of Gjakova, Faton Toll for Ferizaj, Mytaher Haskuka for Prizren, Sami Kurtesh for Gjilan, and Central Kastrati for Kamenica.
The PDK has decided this time to compete in local elections with new names. Only two of them are elected deputies.
From the PDK for mayor of Gjilan will compete Zenun Pajaziti, while for Ferizaj Agim Aliu, both elected deputies.
From the initiative for Kosovo for mayor of Prizren, Zafir Berisha will compete, while Mimoza Kusari-Lila from the Alternative, who has been elected coalition deputy with LDK and AKR has decided to compete in Gjakova.
