The European Commissioner for Community Policy and for Enlargement Talks, Johannes Hahn, will visit Serbia on Friday, the Serbian newspaper “Danas” has learned.
According to these sources, it is taught that in this case Hahn will meet with top state officials, including Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, while the main topic of talks will be to resolve the Kosovo issue, the situation in the Western Balkans, Serbia's progress towards EU membership, with special focus on chapters 23 and 24, which concern human rights and the construction of the legal state, broadcast Koha.net.
It is also taught that before moving to Belgrade, the EU official will remain in Albania on Thursday.
Sources have told “Dianas” that the EU is pleased that “has finally ended the several-month political crisis in Kosovo”, as well as the fact that Serbian representatives, close to official Belgrade, have become part of Haradinaj Government.
