Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka, during a meeting with France's Ambassador to Pristina, Didier Chamber, has said the development of strategic sectors is a fundamental need for sustainable economic development.
The head of the MZHE has stressed that the development of sectors such as energy and mining will be the focus of his work, while adding that significant attention will also be paid to public companies in order to improve services to citizens. Minister Luka has noted that projects that are in the process of realisation such as T New Kosovo and other projects will have an added realisation dynamic.
It was also discussed on the sewage treatment project, worth about 86m euros, financed by the Government of France, which Minister Luka assured the French diplomat that soon the unit to deal with its implementation will be established.
The meeting has also discussed the development of Trepca and promotion of projects in the energy sector, mining, etc. Minister Luka and Ambassador Chambers have praised relations between the two countries, while stressing that France will continue to support Kosovo in all areas in the future.
