Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg dismissed the comments made by United States President Donald Trump, who said the social network has always been against him.
The president, by way of a Twitter post, accused Facebook of <x0 “the secretor” and named it “anti-Trump”.
He made the same assessment for the New York Times and Washington Post newspapers.
Facebook will soon hand over 3,000 political ads to congress investigators who are investigating Russia's alleged intervention in the US presidential elections last year.
Facebook believes advertising may have been bought by Russian entities during and after the presidential race.
Responding to Trump's criticism, with a Facebook post, Zuckerberg denied that he has adjourned and said he has made efforts to create “a platform for all ideas”.
Zuckerberg said liberals in the United States have also charged him with creating opportunities for Trump's election victory.
He promised that Facebook “would continue to build a community for all people” and that “would be against countries that try to spread misinformation and overthrow elections”.
Zuckerberg's posting has attracted 65,000 “preferences” within just the first two hours.
