Hungary will not change its stance on immigration after the EU's top court dismissed Hungary and Slovakia's complaints about the number of migrants, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban reported on Friday, “Reuters”, Periscopi broadcast.
“We have to take into account the decision, as we cannot destroy the foundation of the EU, and law enforcement is the foundation of the EU, but at the same time this court ruling is not the reason for us to change our policy regarding immigrants”, Orban told state radio.
He also stated that establishing a link between the issue of immigration and financing the EU's cohesion was against EU rules, and this could be called a <x0morial <x0-secondal”, he said, responding to a letter to European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker./Periscopi/
