Erdogan comes answer from US over Fetullah Gulen's extradition

The United States will not risk extraditing Pennsylvania-based Péthullah Gylen in exchange for the release of Pastor Andrew Brunson, who has been in prison in Turkey since October 2016, said an American government official. I can't imagine we're going down to [...]
“I can't imagine that we will descend to that state situation” said State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert during a press conference on September 28th, when asked about Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's remarks, “Hurriyet Daily News” broadcasts Periscopi.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged the United States of America to exchange Gyleni with American pastor Brunson.
We've given you all the necessary documents (for Güney's extradition), but they say, "We give it to the pastor." You have a pastor in your hands. Give us that pastor and we will do what we can in court for this”, Erdogan said on September 28th.
Brunson was arrested on October 7, 2016, over allegations “of being a threat to national security”.
Erdogan gave no more details when or for whom he made this proposal. His last meeting with US President Donald Trump took place on September 21st in New York.
Nauert said US President Trump raised the issue of Brunson's arrest when he spoke to Erdogan.
“This is a very important issue for us to try to get Pastor Brunson home”, the spokeswoman said.
There is something the president had established with Mr. Erdogan not long ago, the State Department has been in close contact with Pastor Brunson. We were the last to visit him on September 18th. Let's see, it was August 24. We continue to call for his release. He was unjustly imprisoned in Turkey and we would like to see him at home”, she said.
“We have received several requests for his extradition from the Turkish government” said Nauert, in terms of Turkey's bid to extradite Sylen./Periscopi/
