Serbian media today speculate that arrest warrants exist in Kosovo for arresting suspected Serbs for war crimes. According to them, following Ramush Haradinaj's release from the ban in France, lists of 57 Serbs suspected of committing war crimes against the civilian population were drawn up in Kosovo.
The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric has also talked about these lists today in Rts.
He has said that secret lists aim to intimidate people and stop their return to their hearths and stop them from seeking their property.
“We have more than 80 thousand confiscated assets, houses, houses, all soliters in Pristina, buildings in Peja, Prizren- somebody wants to prevent people from going to their own shelters and from disposing with his wealth”, Djuric was quoted as saying.
