After closing in 1945 of the single Muslim Community magazine “Islamic” (1939-1945), all religious books were banned and the arrest of many Muslim and Christian clergymen began.

Many of them lived in prisons, as was Durres H. Mustafa Varoshi. It should not be forgotten that all of these were educated in the best universities of the Islamic world, and part of them were independent and prominent national personalities, such as Ferit Vocopola's teacher. In addition, among the most outstanding figures can be mentioned:

Hafiz Ali Corca (Director Education, Chief Mufti, publicist, writer, and poet, imprisoned in 1945),

Hafiz Ibrahim Dalliu (the founder of Albanian schools in Tirana, imprisoned in 1946),

Hafiz Ismet Dibra, (director of General Medrees, Tirana, imprisoned in 1946),

Hafiz Sabri Koci (prisoned in 1966, served 20 years and 4 months in prison, the first president of the post-communist KMSH, 1990-2003),

Hakki Sharofi, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Zani of Nadte” (prisoned in 1946),

Ismail Muchuy (polyglot of languages, imprisoned in 1952-1963),

Haxhi Faik Hoxha (prisoned in 1966, sentenced to 25 years in prison),

Hasan Tahsini (directer at the Medrese, imprisoned in 1947),

Hafiz Mustafa Varoshi (mufti of Durres, imprisoned in 1945, dead in prison),

Hafiz Sheriff Langu (head of the Nalta Council of Sheriat, imprisoned in 1945),

Hafiz Esat Muftia, (head of the Muslim Albanian Community, imprisoned in 1946),

Hafiz Musa Dbgut,

Hafiz Ali Kraja (prisoned in 1945),

Imam Matt Trotz (dead in prison in 1947),

You see Ibrahim Karabunara, who killed in prison in 1947 with his son,

Behold Myslim Luma (dead in prison in 1953),

Imam Ahmet Hyseni (dead in prison in 1945),

Hafiz Xhemal Naipi (Kadi, chairman of the Education Commission, mufti, general director of the Vakfeve, senator, MP, first president of the pluralist parliament in 1921, sentenced in 1947 by the Military Court with life deprivation, forced labour, loss of civil and political rights in Burrel's notorious 1955 in the age of 77, without family even knowing his grave;

Jonuz Buley, director of Tirana's middle school dorm.

While Hafiz Sheuket Borici, Hafiz Sabrin Bushati, Molla Alush Zaganjari, etc., became self - possessed at home to the death, not to be stripped of religious uniforms.

Hafiz Musa Dörgut said: “I was asked to speak to the priest, they want us to part, and tomorrow they told me that the priest was shot with the evidence of the firehouses. I've told them whatever you want, that shit never works. ”

Muslim and Christian clergy became sacrifices to their faith, faithful to God and to believers. They were also enthralled with love of the country's faith and refused to compromise with the regime by remaining loyal to religion and to the nation for which their soul remained free forever.

Today, after the semi - century genocide over religion, in today's conditions of freedom of faith, those faithful martyrs testified to the only human and national dignity before God and their people.

But although in almost three decades of democracy, much has been said about the crimes and damages of communism from the end of 1990 onward, we can say few have been done in the field of fact studies from numerous documents still hidden in state archives, in addition to some studies and publications of the Communist Crime Research Institute.

And indeed, our society has not been able to repay the debt of dignity and gratitude to the nation's spiritual fathers, who were persecuted, killed, and imprisoned during the Communist regime, and later became leaders of freedom of faith. But a greater debt and duty also has the state of these national and religious figures, because clergymen are not monopoliesses of religious communities, but belong to all Albanians, whose new generations should be recognized through books of history and literature in the country's schools.

They should be appreciated not only at prices and decorations or activities but also by names of schools and streets, especially their book reprint publications, studies about life, and the work they left in all possible forms. /Conica.al/
