The Central Election Commission is continuing preparations for the October 22nd local elections. Checklists, certificate of the final voter's list, printing ballotes are some of the issues that are still being worked on.
Four days before the election campaign starts for the autumn elections, the Central Election Commission is in the final phase of preparations for the process.
According to officials from this institution, the number of new voters who will be eligible to vote is 14 thousand and 100, which does not include the number of voters who were eligible to vote in the June 11th elections.
In the latter, the number of those over 18 years of voting was about 152 thousand and 202 voters.
CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi said that following the certificate of the final voter list, which is expected to occur soon, the CEC will conduct another procedure that will thus complete the implementation of the operational plan for the autumn elections.
But besides that, the Central Election Commission and the Civil Record Agency are doing another job.
On October 22nd of next month, the country's citizens, but even those living abroad, will be able to vote for their elected in 38 municipalities throughout Kosovo. / RTK/
