British Ambassador to Pristina Ruari O'Connell has said his country will continue to support education, especially the professional one to whom great importance has been paid so far, as it is directly related to economic development.
He made these comments today during a meeting with Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqi Bytyqi, with whom he has talked about the state of education at all levels, as well as the possibilities of co-operation. Minister Bytyqi thanked Ambassador O'Connell for helping his country has given Kosovo since the 1990s so far, especially in the education sector.
Speaking of government priorities, Minister Bytyqi said that in the government programme, great importance is dedicated to education and professional training, but also university education. He stressed that MAST needs much help from Great Britain in aiming to improve the situation in education, especially in professional education, so that youth can acquire skills to be prepared for the job market.
