Asians return to Kosovo unwillingly, very few volunteers

The great Exodus of Kosovo citizens who fled in search of a better life left Kosovo empty, schools, jobs, etc.

However, those who migrated to the EU are already returning to their homeland, some with difficulty and some with pleasure.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the quarter of 2017, persons re-admissioned by various states have returned in 2005. Of them, 1340 or 65% have been returned by force and 665 or 35 % volunteers.

The German state led by countries from which asylumers have been forced back, with a total of 979, then Switzerland 91, Sweden 74 and so on.

As for those who have sought asylum, their number is 44 asylum seekers, of whom 23 men and 21 women.

As for foreigners who have sought stay in Kosovo, 1447 requirements are, of them 1423 are requirements for temporary residence permits.

Of the number of positive decisions for temporary permission, 505 (47.0%) are males, while 600 (53.0%) are females, writes Indexline.

These permits have been more for family reunions, then for work and study.

What stands out in this report is the large number of Kosovars who have sought to relinquish citizenship.

In the citizenship division for January-March 2017, 1305 citizenship-free decisions have been made, out of them 1280 positive, 25 negative.

And, from 2009 to January 2017, the Republic of Kosovo's citizenship has been lost by citizenship with a release of 37823 citizens.

On the other hand, the number of those who have sought to be equipped with Kosovo citizenship is small.

There are a total of 148 citizenship decisions, with 58 positive and 90 negative and 18 requests.
