This marked the quiet end of NASA's space shuttle é Casinı, almost 20 years after its launch, the New York Times” reported on Periscope.

Here, at the California Institute of Technology, hundreds of people gathered to commemorate the reunification of the bottom of the ship. It had grown almost quietly in the space zone, while the crowd watched on screens displayed in the courtyard. When it became clear that Cassini had disappeared into space, there was silence, followed by applause, and even some cheers.

Some of Cassini's scientists and engineers had worked on the mission for two decades of their career.

Next to NASA's Revolutionary Propulsion Laboratory, which built it and caused it to activate into space, Cassini, the staff has constantly worked to keep it under control.

When the project manager announced the end of the mission and the end of space ships, engineers and scientists gave a permanent greeting and embraced.

Our spacecraft has intensified Saturn's atmospho, and we have recorded it final transmission.

Cassini's mission, in orbit since 2004, has expanded beyond the original four-year plan to explore Saturn and his moons, sending back crowds of amazing photographs, solving certain mysteries and improving prevailing notions about the solar system with totally unexpected discoveries.

The most surprising discovery of Cassini was an ocean of water under the icy part of Encepladu. Water contains carbon compounds. These are some of the primary life components needed.

A Journey to Distinction

With the propulsive tanks of Cassini almost empty, NASA sought to clean up and leave Saturn's system intact. Every spaceship, even that launched two decades ago, has autostopas on board.

In particular, planner scientists wanted to make sure that there was zero chance that the spacecraft would land on Encelad or on the biggest moon of Saturn, Titan, which could also be a life welcome.

First, NASA headquarters sought to reduce the number of instruments in '%ssini. Then raise the possibility of her cancellation.

This was a big hit”, said Linda Spicker, project scientist '%ssinı, who first began working for the mission in 1988. “Of course, we are encouraging our European colleagues to be very vocal”, she added.

Seven years later, Cassini went into orbit around Saturn. A few months later, the constituent part of Cassini was cut off at the top of his meeting with Titan, the first attempt by a human spaceship to touch a different moon that we're used to.

Lander was equipped with instruments to identify molecules in the air, measure winds and nebulae, and take photographs on the lower road. The big radio telescopes on Earth were listening, and although they couldn't decipher the signal, they were able to confirm that Hewygens was alive.

Photos on the surface showed what looked like a cobblestone displayed as a circle. Scientists would later realize that they were blocks of ice, not rocks.

“Titan is indeed a world similar to Earth”, Dr Lebreton said.

Even now, 20 years after the beginning, ʹCasini and its instruments remain in good working condition. The source of plutonium energy still produced electricity. But now there wasn't enough power to safely send Cassini was everywhere except in Saturn, who had made great discoveries./Periscopi/
