INSTAT points out that there have been more road accidents in 2017 than in 2016 and that the consequences are also heavier this year than a year earlier. It is estimated that 1313 accidents occurred in the January period of August (August 17th), of those 215 in August alone. I NSTAT points out that throughout January, August 2017, 149 people have died as a result of road accidents. In August, however, there were 22 dead people.
In August 2017, there were more deaths in Durres, 4 of them. Furthermore, three death accidents have been recorded in Tirana, at 3 in Elbasan, and in Shkodra and Fier. Meanwhile, for the entire period of January, August 2017, more victims have been recorded in the capital.
