Nexhat Ademi pleaded not guilty to acts related to terrorism, as he said he has called on him not to go to Syria.
Nexhat Ademi, accused of participating in a terrorist group after hearing the indictment read by special prosecutor Elez Blakaj, was declared innocent.
And Adam declared that he had spent anything on other than what he was charged with.
I've even cooperated with the state bodies and called not to go, I told you don't miss going there and I've made a blockade not to go there.
The prosecution also supported the lawyer of the accused Sabedin Cena, who said the prosecution has offered no evidence supporting an indictment for such a serious work.
The next session where objections to defence evidence will be presented will be held in October.
This session was postponed several times in the past due to the lack of indictee who at today's session came under police escort.
Ademi, according to the Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Act in January 2014, was launched from Pristina Airport to Istanbul and from where he later travelled to Turkey's town of Gaziantep near the Syrian border.
The prosecution claims that Ademi's goal was to move to Syria and become part of the Al-Nusra organisation and commit to creating the Islamic State on the territory of Syria and Iraq.
The indictment reportedly states that Nexhat Ademi remained in Syria for a week on territory controlled by Al-Nusra and then returned to Kosovo.
In addition to this trip, the Special Prosecutor claims that Ademi again tried to go to Syria on March 4th 2016, but after arriving at Istanbul Airport was banned by Turkish authorities and then deported to Kosovo because of his connection to the war zone.
