In a village of Kukes, Kosovo authorities on Monday, nearly 18 years later exhumed the remains of a Kosovar killed by Serbian paramilitaries.
The remains of Kosovo, whose identity is not yet known, were buried in the village of Domaj exactly in 1999 after the lake dividing Kosovo with Albania brought him to be found lifeless and injured in the body, Kosovo reports.
It is learned that Kosovo in 1999 crossed the road to Kukes, along with thousands of Kosovars to escape the Serbian regime, but had failed to escape.
Meanwhile, Prizren's KMDLNj in a response to it says Kosovo and Albanian authorities in 2009 have been notified of the event, but this case has been greatly overlooked.
The KMDLNj approach says the move is to be criticised even sharply, as it is still at such a pace if family members waiting for their disappearances to remain anxious for many years.
” Despite the fact that KMDLNJ has reported on the case, which even Klan Kosova later reported, the case has become known to Kosovo and Albanian authorities in 2009, eight years ago, the case has been greatly ignored, as it is to be criticised and harsh, because if we continue at this pace, it remains for family members to expect many more years of anxiety” is said in the KMDLNj statement.
Meanwhile, four years ago, it was reported to Kosovo killed by Serb paramilitaries in 1999, which was now buried in Albania after the country's authorities had done nothing in the direction of the case.
