The Serbian agent's involvement in events on April 27th, according to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, is done with the blessing of Macedonia's state leader. The Serbian president unveiled this last night in an interview for Serbia's radio television. But according to former Minister of Internal Affairs Pavle Trajanov, the important thing is to know who has given Serbian agent permission to participate in the April 27th events in the Assembly.
That man, Mr. Zivalevic, has not gone to his head, has not asked me or anyone else in our country, even though we have to answer. He has directly asked Macedonia's top state representative, told you he wants to be there, and do you have anything against him and allow me? And they have been fully aware of his presence there- declared Alexander Vucic president of the Republic of Serbia.
But it must be investigated whether he had a permit. Did he ask who asked for it, who gave it to him, and carry those responsibilities? Since it is not natural as a start, the request someone ask you to participate in places where there is violence, where violence has been exerted towards the highest authorities in the country, towards representatives of the legislature's house, to participate an outside agent in the job, even as observers, I think it is fully non-responsible, and if they reason that authorities have given him permission to be a participant what is also unacceptable and absurd- stated Pavle Trajanov, former minister of Internal Affairs.
Trajanov expects the situation with Serbia to calm down in the coming days, but he does not dismiss the possibility that through Serbia great powers and powerful centres will try to destabilise the country in order to block Euro integration processes.
I want to remind you of the year 95, when Macedonia introduced that pro-godship that such kind of termology was used, the assassination of President Kiro Gligorov took place, and all processes persisted, and Macedonia delayed with changes to democratic processes. Now when we have the greatest support to date from the EU, from NATO and from the US to reform, what it means is faster NATO membership, the start of negotiations with the EU, may be some scenario that again destabilises Macedonia, the Balkans, and cannot catch Macedonia towards our strategic goals of being part of NATO as soon as possible, and the start of EU membership talks- stressed Pavle Trajanov.
Trajanov, however, does not rule out the possibility that the EU and other factors will interfere with the calming of the situation between Serbia and Macedonia.
