After the 730km trip from Istanbul, you will tread Turkey's northern coast, where mountains kiss the Black Sea. You'll be in Sinop.
The air of Sinop City, where philosopher Diogenes was born, is very clean. Sinopi is one of the quietest cities in Turkey, even though leaders complain there is little investment in the city's infrastructure.
Sinopi is the town where residents have found harmony, says a BBC report from this city, writes Periscopi.
Even bureaucratic rules are ignored in Sinop, since after Wednesday nobody works in this city.
“It says that no one in Sinop works after Wednesday, though it is hard to find a bureaucratic who admits he does so little work, despite the fact that Diogjoni would have praised him if he knew”, the BBC report said.
Sinop's traffic seems very calm compared to Istanbul's chaotic traffic.
