Russian authorities have prevented a terrorist attack in Moscow, which could have a tragic balance. Four suspects were in handcuffs concerning the Islamic State planning to carry out explosions in the subway system in the Russian capital.
It could have been a major terrorist attack with many victims. But Russian Security Service agents managed to prevent it by placing four terrorists in chains connected to the Islamic State.
They planned to carry out a series of explosions in highly populated public environments.
The Moscow subway system was particularly targeted. But Russian intelligence service agents fell on their heels and undertook an operation at a residence in the Russian capital's suburbs.
A laboratory was discovered in the apartment, which they used as a basis for preparing attacks.
Ready to use what they called “The devil's mother” an extremely powerful, peroxid-based explosive material.
Similar bombs have been used in recent years of terrorist attacks across Europe, such as Manchester, Paris and Brussels.
Weapons of various types, including Kalashnikovs and considerable quantities of ammunition, were also discovered in their apartment.
The instructions were allegedly received by leaders of the terrorist Islamic State organisation in Syria. They themselves had recently visited the jihadists ' territories in this country.
The restored jihadists have become a serious threat to public safety in Russia. Islamic militants have been responsible for some recent fatal attacks in Russia, including April 3rd on the St. Petersburg subway, where 15 people died and injured more than 45 others.
