Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic has stated that his proposal for Kosovo's border assignment would eliminate “war crimes between Serbs and Albanians.

He has reiterated that Serbia will never recognise Kosovo's independence, it broadcasts Koha.net.

“Trying to propose a long-term solution, because it is based on historical and ethnic right that self-determines the determination of the borders of what is Serb and what is Albanian, Kostic has said.

He has said that with his proposal Serbia and Serbs “acquire something”, because, according to him, it is border assignment, not division.

“There is an opportunity to become a long-term agreement, and in the areas where Serbs live there will never be independent Kosovo or this is possible but only with tanks”, Dacic has said.

He has said he has no permanent solution for Kosovo without an agreement with Serbia and has added that Kosovo will not become a member of the UN.

We've defined borders with Bosnia and Herzegovina and left with the creature that calls itself independent Kosovo”, Dachic said.

He has added that attitudes are coming from Pristina, under which dialogue has begun to recognise Kosovo.

On behalf of the government and the president of Serbia, we will never recognise the unilateral independence of Kosovo”, he has said.

Dacic has estimated that there is no reason for the international community to reject his proposal, as it is about agreement, not force.

The minister has concluded that for resolving the Kosovo issue there is not much time and that “should do what can be done, until “can be done.
