On the 07th. 08. 2017, about 6:40 p.m., on the local street outside the village of Rogova of Gjakova, there has been a serious traffic accident where two pedestrians have lost their lives.
Kosovo police from the Gjakova region have suggested that “until the accident has come as young as H. B., born in 2001, running Switzerland's billboarded passenger vehicle and not adapting to road conditions, losing control and hitting two pedestrians who lost their lives in injuries at the scene --”.
Their death “is claimed by the doctor at the scene, while injuries were taken from the vehicle driver and a passenger”, reported in the KP report.
The victims in this accident are G. K., born with 1962 Albanian woman/Kosovare and her niece L. D, born in 2005, also female, Kosovo Albanian.
On the other hand, injuries have suffered from H. B. Born in 2001 and B. B., born in 2001, both Albanian males from Kosovo.
All relevant units along with the State Attorney have come out on the scene, and with the investigation of this case, the communications accident investigation unit from the Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova is being taken over.
