The prosecution gives new details on Astrit Dehari case

Prizren's prosecution is still awaiting video tests of security cameras from the Prizren Para-burging Centre for the death of Vetevendosje activist Astrit Dehari.

Contacted by Calxo.com, case prosecutor Metush Biray said they are still waiting for tests being conducted in Austria.

“We are awaiting the analysis we sent to Austria. In my opinion these tests will be returned in two months”, Biray said.

Prosecutor Biraj said the Dehar case is officially still open, and according to him these tests, which are expected to be returned by the Austrian state, will remove all dilemmas about the case.
“90 percent of the investigative actions have been conducted in this case”, Biray said.
Astrit Dehari was a activist of “Vestevendosje”.

He died on November 5th last year at the Prizren Pre- Hamp Centre, where he was being held as suspected of attacking explosive vehicles against the Kosovo Assembly building.

The report by the Institute of Legal Medicine on the causes of Astri Dehar's death released on November 18, 2016, stipulates that he has committed suicide.
