Pence: US to commit to Kosovo's NATO membership

US Vice President Mike Pence has said in Podgorica today that Kosovo will soon become part of NATO.

According to the Pence, the US will continue to support the processes Kosovo is going through, including dialogue with Serbia.

“The US will commit to eliminating all obstacles for Kosovo to become a full member of the Adriatic Charter and for future NATO. The US continues to support dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia on normalising good relations and neighbourly relations. The US is grateful for fighting terrorism and commends success in preventing planned terrorist attacks on the territory of Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo”, Pence has said.
