PANUA still searching for deputies' votes

Despite warnings, the winning subject of June 11th parliamentary elections, the coalition PAN, attended by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative, has not yet managed to finalise any agreement with any of the political subjects for overcoming the knot created about the Kosovo Assembly framework. From this coalition, which has the right to the Parliament Speaker's proposal, but does not have the majority to choose it, they say they are discussing with MPs and political parties to secure sufficient votes for the new Assembly and Governance framework, but have not yet finalised any agreements.
Pal Lekaj, deputy chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, told Radio Free Europe that political parties, part of the coalition PAN, are intensifying efforts to establish new institutions.
“We are in continuous discussions even with political subjects and MPs, and it is expected that within a very short time the” institutions will be established, Lekaj said.
Kosovo prime minister mandated by coalition PAN, Ramush Haradinaj, has held meetings with Alliance of New Kosovo leaders, led by renowned businessman Behxhet Pacolli, but the end is not said to have had any concrete agreements.
The New Kosovo coalition is part of the coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Alternative. It has four deputies and, as reported, Haradinaj has already held meetings with some of these deputies.
However, vice president and secretary general of the New Kosovo Alliance, Vesel Makolli, told Radio Free Europe that the AKR has so far no agreement with the coalition of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative for Kosovo, known as the PAN coalition.
No deal with the PAN coalition. Our president has been in touch with both the two subjects, even the LDK and Vetevendosje, there have been meetings. We hope these will reach a” deal, Makolli said.
He said the AKR and its leader are promoters in finding a faster solution to unlocking Kosovo's operation.
The first sub is an inclusive Government. If not comprehensive, then without the PDK, it would be good. The PDK is best able to cross into opposition. He's also lost his numbers and has to clear the country”, Makolli said.
The head of the Constituent session, MP Adem Mikulovci, said he is now not planning to call on the continuation of the constitutional session, which has been starting since August 3rd and has remained unfinished. According to him, the session can only be called if there is any political agreement guaranteeing the unblocking created in the Assembly.
“Session called when The PAN has numbers or if there's an alliance between Vetevendosje and the Democratic League, which I don't think becomes”, Miklovci said.
Formation of the new Kosovo institutions, released by the June 11th parliamentary elections, continues to remain unclear.
Political provision about the constitution of the new Kosovo government and formation is continuing, while a parliamentary majority has not yet been created that would have enough votes for the formation of new institutions.
Without the election of the Speaker of the Parliament, the procedure, initiated since August 3rd, this institution is considered unstuffed, which also prevents the launch of the procedure for forming the new government. / REL
