Coalition PAN will not change the candidate for chairman of the Assembly, despite Kadri Wessel's not being backed by most lawmakers, by deputies of the movement “Vevendosje” and the LAA coalition, respectively.
“Determination MP”, Albin Kurti, at the same time candidate of this political subject for prime minister of the country, at the last session of the Kosovo Assembly ( last Thursday), has invited the PAN coalition to come up under the name of another candidate for prime minister, as, according to him, Wessel is not able to secure at least 61 MPs' votes.
But former Speaker of the Parliament Xhavit Haliti, who is deputy The PDK in the Assembly has stated they are determined to continue on Veselin's candidacy.
“We have decided for a candidate for the top parliament and will not change”, Haliti said, adding that political talks have already begun to secure at least 61 votes in the Assembly.
