The guest team began the challenge better and continued to play better in both quarters of the first half by closing it by 40-41.
We stress that the match is under way without fans, as through an announcement from the Macedonian Basketball Federation (MKF) for security reasons there were no ticket sales for this match and that decision has been made in consultation with competent authorities.
We remember that at the first meeting played in Pristina, Kosovo beat Macedonia by the 72-68 figures, but our midweek representative suffered defeat (76-50) in Tallinn from Estonia.
Kosovo and Macedonia are fighting for the second position to send them to European qualifications for the World Championship, “Kina 2019”. Macedonia has double-lose balance and no victory in the group, while Kosovo has a balance of victory and a defeat.
And with victories in this challenge, Kosovo would continue to qualify together with Estonia, thus eliminating Macedonia. /Telegraph
