Iran has threatened the United States that if they impose new sanctions against it, then the Islamic Republic within hours will abandon the nuclear agreement with world powers, Iran's president, Hassan Rouhani, has said today.
“If America wants to return to the experience of imposing sanctions, Iran will, of course, return soon, not within the week or month, but within hours, with more advanced conditions than before the start of negotiations,” Rouhan said at the Iran Parliament.
Iran says the new sanctions the United States imposed on him violates the agreement reached in 2015 with the United States, Russia, China and three European powers in which it agreed to reduce its nuclear work in exchange for lifting most sanctions.
