At a time when Durres Beach has the largest number of vacationers, the beach is badly polluted.
Uncleaning lesteries have made it impossible to stay on the beach.
Leshterics have gone ashore, while baskets filled with garbage are at the foot of vacationers.
At the first mile of the Durres coast, it is impossible to take a beach.
The sand belt and sea water in several meters of water have been polluted. Urban waste has been thrown onto the sand, polluting it massively, while maintenance does not appear long.
Such a situation is at the peak of the tourist season, at a time when the beach is crowded by vacationers. They point to the authorities' neglect, neglecting this coastline, which for years has been identified as the focus of Albanian tourism.
But this is not the only beach that offers for vacationers a severe lack of hygiene and unsuitable view of a tourist coastal town. In an even worse condition are polluted waters that are discharged directly to the sea, from the Taulantia walkway toward the Curillas. Abcnews
