He was imprisoned by the Israelites, he no longer knows his little boy: The confession that will make you cry

Hamza was only 10 months old when his mother was imprisoned for a year by an Israeli court on charges she had denied.

Abu El-Hawa, who was released on August 7th, is facing difficulties to sleep, is examining a psychiatrist and finding it difficult to reintegration into her family.

My youngest son (Hamza) refuses to approach me”, she says.

I wanted to put it in my bosom, but he hit my hand and left”, says Abu Al-Hawa for “Al Jazeera”, the Periscope broadcast.

The mother of six children was imprisoned on August 28, 2016, on charges that she provided some information to the prisoners of Hamas at Israel's detention center.

During the time of her husband's imprisonment, Abu Omar and the children were denied the right to visit her.

Her eldest son Omar '%s' was also given a two-and-a-half-year sentence at the same time, after allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails in the direction of Israeli occupational forces.

Omar continues to suffer at Megiddo Prison, north of the West Coast of Israel.

She recalls the pain she experienced last October when both of their trials were imposed the same day.

I got off the bus and Omar was in the (military) jeep behind us”

I wanted to hug him, and when I tried to do that, police forces took me away from him and hit him in the stomach. They threatened to beat my son in case he tried to talk to me even from a distance of”, she said.

Like other prisoners, Abu El-Hava endured humiliating conditions during the 23-day interrogation period at the detention center in conquered East Jerusalem. She remembers those days with anxiety.

I didn't know the day from the night” she said.

They never turned off the lights, even at night, and left the air conditioner at a very low temperature when I was in a frozen state of”, relates the difficult moments she had.

Her prison did not end there.

After his release, a command was given from Israel that prevented her from returning to Jerusalem, where she and her family lived before being imprisoned.

The new Israeli order for her means that she must live on the West Wall Bank, which separates the West Coast from Jerusalem.

Her husband, Abu Omar, says living without his wife was “very difficult”.
