Representatives of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) will participate in the consultative meeting called by Kosovo's Parliament Speaker, Adem Miclovci, but have not yet decided if they attend Thursday's session.
Today, the vice president has made that known. PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, after gathering the leadership of this party.
“We as PDK chief, have had a meeting, where we talked about the political situation in the country and of course that the first priority among us is the constitution and the formation of the future government. Our position is the one we introduced last week, that we're interested in after the proposal made by the mayor. PDK, Lord Wessel, support from other political subjects. To find a solution that reflects consensus and the way to move forward. The chairman has invited tomorrow to have a political party consultative meeting. We as political subjects will participate in this meeting and believe that we will find a solution”, Hoxhaj said.
He has said the decision that for possible participation in Thursday's session, they will make it public tomorrow.
I've said at the first meeting we've had with other political subjects, that the leader cannot move into two parallel dimensions of political functioning. He has taken a step that we have welcomed to invite political parties. And the decision we made that day was a decision that Wednesday at 10:00 we meet as political subjects and find a political solution. We do not give priority to speed in relation to political co-ordination, such as the PDK along with other political coalition partners we will be present at the meeting tomorrow. What we will make for Thursday is the decision we will make tomorrow”, Hoxhaj said.
He has added that the Parliament's regulation literally foresees how the Speaker of the Assembly is voted over, and that is entitled to the subject, which has won the election and he has also cited the 2014 Constitutional Court's decision. While the formation of government has said it is another particular part of how the government is created. According to him, the way to move forward should be found, which in his view is through negotiation and a political dialogue.
