The candidate for prime minister from the PAN coalition, Ramush Haradinaj, has voiced confidence that the country's institutions will be formed within a ten-day deadline, while the next constitutional session is scheduled for August 24th.

He has said at a media conference where the two AAK candidates for the chairman of Gjakova and Peja were presented, that they are now in the final period, and that soon there will be political clarity.

We're now in the final period and I believe it won't be long, to waste a lot of time getting started on business, so we're in final consultation to continue working. Now I think that a political clarity will come very soon in that timeline, a political clarity, implementation can get us to assume as we know it is the session for the Parliament, then the session for the government, but I think that a political clarity will come sooner”, Haradinaj said.

The AAK leader considers that negotiations on forming institutions have proved more complicated than it was meant because of the boycott of consultancy meetings among political parties.

“Developments and negotiations for the country's institutions are sorry it turned out more complicated than expected. A surprising boycott pressure was made on both the consultations and the meetings, but the reason why it probably took longer is that we were interested in a broader base not only numerically, so to call it 61 votes, but for a broader basis”, he said.
