He told RTK that after the war, Kosovo's territory has been cleared of radioactive waste from NATO. Mezelxhi even mentioned the case when elements from Chernobyl were found, but not this impoverished uranium from the bombings of NATO and Serbia.
He also said that in June of this year the Agency for Protection from Radiation and Nuclear Security has received all water samples nationwide, and has sent them to Brussels for radioactive analysis, while in June concrete results are expected.
He said that after the war, Kosovo's territory has been cleared of NATO forces from radioactive waste and continuing results that have been made, according to Mezelxhi, show that Kosovo is clean of radioactive elements.
