Delawie expresses disappointment with what happened in the Assembly today

The United States Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawi, has expressed disappointment with developments at the Kosovo Assembly Constituent session.

“We are disappointed that representatives of the people of Kosovo failed to constitute the Assembly today. For Kosovo it is important to have the Parliament and functional Government as soon as possible, to address urgent priorities for the people of this state”, Ambassador Delawie told Radio Free Europe.

He also added that “we encourage all parties and their representatives to continue immediately with the formation of state institutions”.
