At the time of the year of Astrit Dehar's death, tests of security cameras at Prizren's Pre-burging Centre are expected to return to Kosovo from Austria.
This, for KTV, has been confirmed by Prizren's Constitutional Prosecutor, who has said this will enable continued investigation. The incidents were submitted in February to the “Institute IT Forensics BKA” to assess their authenticity, whether or not there was interference in them.
Prosecutor Metush Biray has stated this is a slightly more complex analysis, so it takes more time.
The incidents that are being analyzed are from three different cameras, from midnight between November 4th and November 5th to the morning of November 6th. Astrit Dehari, who was suspected of the attack on the Kosovo Assembly, died in his cell in the detention centre on November 5th afternoon. Since then, the prosecution has only investigated the suicide track until the Dehari family insists he was killed. To that end, the Assembly decided that the government would pay the expenses for an independent investigation that the family would choose.
But the request was rejected with the argument that the Dehari family chose an investigative institute in Switzerland, which is not a country of the EU.
