The Democratic Party of Kosovo has not yet made any candidate for mayoralties official, except Zenun Pajazit, who himself has announced that he will be the candidate for mayor of Gjilan.

The LDK has already nominated candidates for five municipalities -- Istog, Gjilan, Podujevo, Fushe Kosovo.

The Vetevendosje movement has currently formalised with the majority candidate for mayor of municipalities, the total has named candidates for 11 municipalities -- mainly large ones -- Pristina, Prizren, Gjilan, Gjakova, Peja, Podujevo, Drenas, Theranda, Lipjan, Istog and Viti. Even the AAK has already formalised candidates for most of the municipalities. It has formalised candidates for Pristina, Peja, Gjakova, Gjilan, Decani, Kline, Junic, Podujevo, Rahovec, Theranda and Obilic. The interesting race is expected to happen to win in Pristina.

However, political subjects continue to wait for the deadline to propose the candidate that will enter the race for the capital's first. So far it is only the Vetevendosje Party that has formalised the candidate, where even for a mandate I will ask for the current president, Shpend Ahmeti. While, even the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has already formalised its candidate for head of Pristina, which will be Arber Vllahiu. The last day they keep waiting for him to formalise the candidate I'm going to challenge Ahmet and Vladiu are. PDK and LDK. Political subjects, not only for the capital but also for other municipalities, have not yet formalised candidates for mayors.

Citizens of the second largest city in the country, Prizren, have not yet learned the names of all candidates of the county mayors. The only one who has already formalized the name that I will race for the first of Prizren is Mytaher Haskuka from Vetevendosje. In Gjakova, V V, AAK and Alternatives have already nominated their candidates. Facing the first of Gjakova will be Ardian Gjini from AAK, Driton Caushi from Vetevendosje, and Deputy Director Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who in past elections won in the runoff against Paul Lekait of AAK.

Even in Gjilan, big parties have already named for aiming to lead with this municipality. Zenun Pajaziti will run from the PDK, while counterCandidia will have, current chairman Lutfi Haziri from LDK, Sami Kurtesh from Vetevendosje and Rexhep Kadriun from the AAK. While in Pec, it is the AAK that has already introduced the candidate for chairman, Fatmir Gashi and Vetevendosje, who have formalised the Union Nurbonja as the candidate for mayor of this municipality. For the two major municipalities -- Mitrovica and Ferizaj -- no subject has yet formalised the candidate for chairmanship of these municipalities.
