“We have had no success”, Del Ponte said.
It accused Security Council members of refusing to establish justice, and added that until the establishment of a war crimes court committed in Syria, “all reports are completely useless”, “b92” reported, Periscopi broadcast.
According to her, “initially in Syria, the opposition was good, the government was evil”, but now, “s are all bad”.
The Assad government is committing terrible crimes against humanity using chemical weapons, while the opposition consists of extremists and terrorists”, Del Ponte said.
“Believe me, the terrible crimes committed in Syria I have not seen in Rwanda or in the former Yugoslavia”, she said. “We thought the international community had learned from Rwanda, but no, it didn't learn anything”, Del Ponte said.
There are no “schools or institutions” in the country, she said.
According to her, it presents a scandal for the international community.
